QA QC Welding Inspector
• Perform welding inspection and verification activities to ensure that all welding operations are carried out in strict compliance with approved WPS/PQR, project technical specifications, contractual requirements, applicable regulations, and relevant international/industry standards. • Monitor and control all welding-related quality processes, evaluate welding performance, verify welder qualifications and certifications, and ensure that all welding activities comply with the specified acceptance criteria and quality requirements. • Support the Site QA/QC Manager in maintaining welding quality records, traceability documentation, inspection and test reports (ITRs), and inspection status records, ensuring full compliance with TotalEnergies Technical Specifications and the project's Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), or Degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. • Possession of a valid international welding inspection certification, such as one of the following: • CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI) • ISO 9712 Level II certification (preferably in VT, MT, PT, and/or UT) • Additional qualifications such as BGAS, API, or ASME certifications are considered an advantage. • Minimum 8 years of experience in welding inspection within the oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or onshore EPC construction industries. • Sound knowledge of international welding codes, standards, and specifications, including but not limited to: o ASME Section IX o ASME B31.3 / B31.4 / B31.8 o API 1104 o ISO 3834 o EN standards o AWS D1.1 o ISO 17635–17637 • Familiarity with TotalEnergies General Specifications (GS), Company Procedures (CP), and project-specific quality requirements is highly preferred.
