QHSE & E Manager
We are seeking an experienced QHSE&E Manager to drive Quality, Health & Safety, Environment and Energy performance at our production site in Vyškov.
As a member of the local management team, you will lead a team of QHSE&E specialists and work closely with the General Manager, local managers, divisional QHSE&E colleagues and global functions to ensure compliance, continuous improvement and achievement of business objectives.
Purpose of the Role
The QHSE&E Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and execution of all Quality, Health & Safety, Environment and Energy processes and standards at the factory level. The role is accountable for product quality, employee safety, environmental compliance, energy performance and CO₂ reduction.
The role is also responsible for reporting local QHSE&E performance, leading investigations and corrective actions, and driving sustainable improvements based on data, root cause analysis and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement global and divisional QHSE&E standards, procedures and control plans within daily plant operations, ensuring compliance with all legal and corporate requirements.
- Monitor operational performance indicators such as Right First Time (RFT), scrap rates, safety incidents and energy consumption, and take immediate action to address deviations.
- Lead the investigation, reporting and corrective action process for quality and safety incidents.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of quality, safety and energy-related data through relevant systems and tools.
- Conduct local audits, workplace inspections and coordinate QHSE&E training activities for employees.
- Represent the local production company in divisional and global initiatives, including product quality validation activities and energy efficiency projects.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes of quality issues, safety risks and operational inefficiencies and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Lead and develop a team of local QHSE&E specialists.
Who We're Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced QHSE&E professional with a proven track record in a manufacturing environment and the ability to balance operational priorities with compliance and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least 5 years of experience in a QHSE&E role within a manufacturing company.
- At least 5 years of experience as a people manager, including leading, coaching and developing teams
- Proven responsibility for Quality management combined with practical experience in Health & Safety or Energy Management, ideally both.
- Fluent Czech and advanced English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across local, divisional and global stakeholders.
- A strong track record of driving compliance, operational improvements and corrective actions within a production environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- A structured, hands-on and data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Success in this role is measured by:
- Achievement of local targets related to quality, scrap rates, safety performance, energy consumption and CO₂ reduction.
- Timely and effective implementation of corrective actions resulting from audits and incident investigations.
- Continuous improvement of employee engagement and awareness related to QHSE&E culture.
