QS Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors and look into their training and guidance
- Supervise QS on project progress claims, subcontractor claims, EOTs and Variation Claims
- Liaise with departments, clients and authorities on submission, audits and compliances matters
- Deal with subcontractor for proper contract management, resolve disputes
- Support PM in contract administration and cost control
- Prepare monthly progress reports on claims and pricings
Requirements
- Degree in QS or equivalent
- Min 10 years’ relevant experience, out of which 2 years in Management level, in construction project value of at least $300 million and above
- Experience with international construction projects in the Nearshore Marine Development, Land Reclamation sectors will be preferred
- Good knowledge of tendering, project cost control, monthly reporting, earned value analysis, estimation and cost analysis
- Demonstrated good leadership qualities and people management capabilities
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Candidate must be willing to work in Changi location
