Position Summary

Leads the organization’s Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) and patient safety programs across the hospital, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and ambulatory surgery center. Promotes a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high-quality patient care through data analysis, performance improvement, and collaboration with clinical and operational leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain organization-wide QAPI and patient safety programs.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes, safety, efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality and patient safety data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate adverse events and near misses and develop strategies to reduce risk and prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and staff to implement evidence-based practices and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor quality performance and regulatory requirements across hospital, SNF, clinic, and ASC services.
  • Prepare and present quality and patient safety reports to leadership and applicable committees.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and patient safety throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medicine, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • California RN license or one (1) to three (3) years of related clinical experience required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of acute care hospital quality management experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of QAPI, patient safety, risk management, peer review, incident reporting, and OPPE/FPPE.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and data reporting skills.
  • CPHQ, CPPS, Lean/Six Sigma, or other quality/patient safety certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time, Variable Shift (3-month temporary)

Pay: $165K-$175K/annually
