Under general supervision, responsible for all aspects of quality assurance audits according to group quality assurance guidelines and federal regulations.
- Conducts audits to ensure consistency with established policies, procedures and philosophy, and to maintain and improve the quality of care given to patients.
- Ensures current, accurate information documented in the Quality Assurance database.
- Reviews audit follow-up responses, creates corrective action/preventative action (CAPA) plans, and develops non-conformance reports (NCR) as necessary.
- Researches regulatory and quality assurance issues and implements changes as needed.
- Maintains communication with Administration, Medical Staff and Department.
- Heads regarding all Quality Assurance activities.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to develop clear, concise, and timely oral and written reports.
