Quality Assurance Engineer for Frencken Machining (Eindhoven or Reuver)
Summary
Quality Assurance Engineer at Frencken's precision machining operations (semiconductor, medical, aerospace, mechatronics). Drives a Zero Defects culture via 8D root cause analysis, PPAP, FMEA, audits (ISO 9001/13485/14001), and corrective actions, working across Eindhoven and Reuver sites with suppliers and customers.

Your role
As Quality Assurance Engineer, you safeguard quality and help us build an organisation that operates from a Zero Defects, First Time Right mindset. You combine technical insight with strong analytics and excellent communication, working daily with colleagues across Eindhoven and Reuver as well as suppliers and customers. You'll tackle root causes - not just symptoms - and be a visible, connecting force across the business.
What you'll do
- Lead 8D root cause analyses and handle complaints and non-conformities
- Drive corrective and preventive actions using PPAP, Pareto, Fishbone, 5x Why, FMEA, A3
- Perform internal, external, customer, and certification audits (ISO 9001, 13485, 14001)
- Support NPI trajectories and ECNs, safeguarding CTQs and process handover
- Communicate actively with customers on quality topics, deviations, and improvements
- Coach internal teams and suppliers in quality thinking
- Act as sparring partner for engineering, production, management, and customers
Where you'll work
Based at either Eindhoven or Reuver - you choose. You will travel frequently between both sites and be the bridge that keeps cross-site collaboration flowing.
What you bring
- Bachelor's level, preferably technical
- Able to read technical drawings
- Strong communicator with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
Good to have
- 3–5 years in a technical high-tech environment
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Glovia)
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485, 14001
- Lean Six Sigma (Orange/Green Belt)
- German language skills
