Remote 6-month contract (Inside IR35) leading a small QA team delivering second-line Customer Outcomes testing on a Motor Finance Commissions programme within Regulatory Assurance, embedding a new QA framework and scorecard.

Quality Assurance Team Lead
Start Date: 28th September 2026 - 6 Month Contract
Rate: Competitive Inside IR35
Role Purpose:
Working within the Regulatory Assurance function, lead a small team of 2nd Line Customer Outcomes testers, providing independent assurance over end to end customer outcomes across the Motor Finance Commissions programme through SSS and targeted risk-based testing. Supporting to embed the newly rolled-out 2nd Line QA framework and scorecard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee delivery of the 2nd Line QA testing plan, ensuring appropriate coverage of SSS and risk-based areas.
- Manage and coach the testing team, ensuring consistent application of the testing methodology and quality of judgements
- Review and assure testing outcomes, particularly complex, high-risk or contentious cases
- Identify and flag trends, systemic issues, customer detriment or emerging risks
- Identify and recommend to the Regulatory Assurance Lead where expanded testing or deep dives should take place
Experience / Skills;
- Strong Financial Service QA, compliance monitoring, outcomes testing or assurance experience.
- Previous experience leading QA/assurance teams and overseeing case-based testing.
- Strong judgement with the ability to identify systemic risk and potential customer detriment.
- Confident senior stakeholder management, challenge and escalation skills.
