Quality Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager with 15+ years of experience in quality management for high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use tower projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the project's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, international standards, client requirements, and applicable codes.

The successful candidate must possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in reinforced concrete high-rise construction, architectural finishes, MEP coordination, and successful project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Prepare and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality procedures.
• Lead and manage the QA/QC team, including QC Engineers and Inspectors across Civil, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, approved drawings, and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party agencies.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, inspection requests (IRs), and work inspection records.
• Monitor concrete works, structural works, architectural finishes, waterproofing, façade systems, and MEP installations.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and quality audits.
• Conduct internal quality audits and ensure continuous improvement of quality processes.
• Monitor testing activities including concrete, steel, soil, waterproofing, façade, and MEP systems.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all quality records.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, de-snagging, and final handover activities.
• Liaise with project management, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Prepare quality reports, KPIs, dashboards, and monthly management reports.
• Mentor and develop QC Engineers and Inspectors to improve project quality performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional certification in Quality Management is preferred.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred for candidates applying within Saudi Arabia.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of total experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 10 years in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use tower projects.
• Experience with projects exceeding 20 floors is highly preferred.
• Proven experience with main contractors on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience working with consultants, developers, and international clients.
