About the Job

The Quality Control support department is responsible for ensuring the reliability of analytical results through maintenance, qualification, maintaining the validated/qualified status of equipment, analytical methods, sampling techniques, stability programs, budget management, subcontracted laboratories, and laboratory material suppliers. This position reports directly to the Quality Control Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality control processes and digital solutions related to QC management, ensuring compliance with Sanofi's global processes.

• Define and maintain equipment maintenance, qualification, and calibration plans, as well as manage reference standards, reagents, and sample flows, including stability activities.

• Coordinate external and inter-site testing, stability studies, quality control documentation, and QC digital solutions, including data management and end-user support.

• Manage and develop the Quality Control support team, leading continuous improvement initiatives in coordination with the QC Excellence team.

• Ensure the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes aligned with global standards and regulatory requirements.

• Follow up on deviations, laboratory investigations, change controls, and CAPAs, coordinating with the involved areas to ensure their timely closure.

• Coordinate new projects for the area, manage relationships with suppliers, and collaborate with other Sanofi sites for problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.

About You

Experience:

Experience in Quality Control laboratories, performing technical leadership, coordination, or supervisory roles, with knowledge in equipment qualification, equipment validation, method validation, and quality management systems.

Soft and Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Quality Control laboratory operations.

• Experience in quality systems, including handling deviations and CAPAs.

• Knowledge of equipment qualification and analytical method validation.

• Ability to coordinate quality activities and laboratory-related projects.

• Knowledge of regulatory and quality control processes.

Education:

University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Parasitological Chemistry, or related fields/degrees.

Languages:

English B1 required (B2 or higher, desirable).
