Quality Engineer – ServiceNow + ATF Assistant Manager

Role Overview

The Quality Engineer (Assistant Manager) supports testing activities within ServiceNow implementations, focusing on execution, validation, and automation. This role ensures that system changes meet functional requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Testing Execution

• Perform manual and functional testing, including regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Design, execute, and review test cases and test scripts.
• Manage defect lifecycle, including identification, tracking, and resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis for identified issues.

ServiceNow Testing

• Execute testing across ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps).
• Validate forms, workflows, catalog items, and SLA configurations.
• Utilize ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework (ATF) for automation.
• Perform integration testing using APIs (REST/SOAP).

Collaboration & Quality Assurance

• Work with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Maintain testing documentation and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement and QA best practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful delivery.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in ServiceNow testing, including ATF automation.
• Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Understanding of API-based integration testing.

Preferred

• Exposure to multiple ServiceNow modules and custom application testing.
• Familiarity with security and compliance considerations in testing.
