As a Refinery Site Manager, you are leading site operations, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of chemical treatment programs within refinery accounts. You are serving as the primary operational and commercial interface between Baker Hughes and the customer while driving service excellence, operational performance, and long-term account growth. You are collaborating with technical, sales, operations, and commercial teams to deliver value-driven solutions that support customer objectives.

As a Refinery Site Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with key refinery customers while understanding business priorities and operational needs.
  • Leading account management activities to support revenue growth, retention, and expansion opportunities.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with internal technical, operations, and sales teams to develop solutions that bring measurable value to customers.
  • Overseeing day-to-day chemical program performance, including management of technicians, account representatives, and onsite service delivery.
  • Leading business reviews, commercial discussions, and technical presentations with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring chemical applications, delivery systems, and service processes comply with Baker Hughes safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with customer leadership and Baker Hughes teams.
  • Driving team performance through coaching, development, and consistent execution of Sales & Service Standards.
  • Managing service quality, problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives across assigned accounts.


To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Bring experience in downstream chemicals, refinery operations, commercial sales, or technical account management.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing, technical or sales role, ideally within industrial or chemical applications.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate chemical performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Be effective in customer engagement, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration.
