Remittance Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the daily operation.
- Perform day-to-day processing of payment transactions, such as SGX, CDP, correspondent banking remittances, inward and outward remittances, including: Payment verification Monitoring of Vostro accounts Checking accounting entries Processing SWIFT and MEPS+ messages Investigating enquiry cases Preparing statistical reports Data checking
- Ensure all the above-mentioned activities are carried out accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with the prescribed standards and requirements.
- Coordinate with other divisions/departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, and promptly follow up on discrepancies.
- Carry out tasks and assignments delegated by superiors.
- Escalate irregularities and discrepancies to management promptly.
- Adhere to the Bank's policies and guidelines governing: Reconciliation Correspondent banking accounts Treasury operation control functions
- Handle unexpected circumstances arising from daily operations.
- Undertake ad hoc assignments or duties to ensure there is no disruption to operational processes.
Job Requirements
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant banking experience.
- Proficient in SWIFT message types, including:pacs.008pacs.009
- Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to interact effectively with external vendors and stakeholders at different levels.
- Able to work on a rotational shift basis, including Singapore public holidays and weekends, when required.
- Analytical, self-motivated, and able to multitask.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume, time-sensitive, and high-risk environment while meeting tight deadlines.
