Role description\:
You will act as a coordinator, supporting request and approval processes and ensuring demand is managed in line with agreed policies and standards. Working closely with business stakeholders, Shared Services, OI and service providers, you will provide visibility of service demand, usage and costs, identifying trends and potential budget pressures. You will support informed decisions around service consumption and prioritisation, balancing accessibility with appropriate governance. Supporting the Request & Catalogue Practice Owner, you will contribute to improving catalogue structures, request and approval processes, and service consumption practices, ensuring services deliver value and remain financially and operationally sustainable.
Core duties\:
- Enable effective service requests and approvals by ensuring requests are routed and approved in line with defined policies and authorities, providing relevant context to support informed approval decision-making and ensuring consistent and auditable application of processes.
- Support the design and maintenance of the service request process to ensure catalogue clarity and support assurance of the Operational Integrator’s maintenance of a clear, user-friendly catalogue.
- Shape and understand service demand through tracking request volumes and trends, highlighting changes in demand and potential impacts on services.
- Track and communicate service consumption, monitoring consumption costs, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of their services, highlight budget pressures, provide insight to enable informed decisions, and support responsible, value-driven use of services across the organisation.
- Strengthen visibility and governance of service consumptions, applying agreed governance standards, enabling balance access, and identifying and reducing unnecessary or suboptimal service usage.
- Drive insight-led improvements by analysing request and usage data, enhancing process improvements and ensuring that services are accessed and used in a way that delivers value.

- Experience in IT Service Management, service catalogue, or request fulfilment environments

This role forms part of BAE Systems transformed SIAM organisation within the Digital Service Integrator capability.The team is redefining how partner engagement, operational accountability, service insight, and continuous improvement operate across a modern SIAM model. Working across strategic partners, Operational Integration, Service Assurance, Procurement, and tower teams, the function shapes the standards, governance, and behaviours that enable integrated service delivery at scale.
