Retail Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Retail Operations Manager will oversee daily operations at The WYLD Shop, driving sales, operational excellence, customer experience, inventory accuracy, team leadership, and continuous improvement in an omnichannel fashion and lifestyle retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily retail operations to ensure smooth and efficient store performance
• Lead, coach, and develop the retail team to enhance skills and productivity
• Drive sales growth, improve productivity, and deliver excellent customer service
• Oversee inventory control and maintain stock accuracy to optimize merchandising
• Analyse sales data and prepare detailed operational reports to inform decision-making
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to standardize processes
• Support Shopify platform management and omnichannel retail operations integration
• Coordinate retail promotions, events, and campaigns to boost customer engagement
• Manage supplier and brand relationships to ensure timely product availability and quality
• Ensure compliance with company policies and retail industry best practices
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business performance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications
• Experience with Shopify platform is advantageous
• Commercially minded with strong organisational skills
• Customer-focused mindset with passion for retail excellence and continuous improvement
