Shape the future of satellite connectivity! We are seeking an experienced PCB Layout Designer / Design Engineer to develop next-generation VSAT and satellite communication systems.
You will lead the design, layout, testing, and optimization of advanced multi-layer PCBs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure peak performance, quality, and seamless manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical schematics and PCB layouts based on system requirements and engineering specifications.
- Develop electrical schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts based on system and engineering requirements.
- Perform component placement, routing, stack-up definition, and design optimization, with a strong focus on signal integrity, power integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability.
- Support RF and high-frequency PCB design, including impedance-controlled routing and effective grounding strategies.
- Utilize ECAD tools such as Altium Designer; familiarity with RF simulation tools such as AWR or HFSS is an advantage.
- Generate manufacturing and assembly documentation, including Gerber files, pick-and-place data, and fabrication/assembly drawings.
- Maintain PCB libraries, internal design standards, and IPC compliance.
- Support prototype assembly, board bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and design validation.
- Collaborate closely with RF, hardware, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues.
- Support DFM/DFA reviews, ECR/ECO processes, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in RF and/or PCB design.
- Experience with multi-layer PCB design, controlled impedance, and high-speed/RF layouts.
- Proficient in Altium Designer, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of analog, digital, mixed-signal, and RF design.
- Familiar with EMI/EMC, IPC standards, PCB manufacturing, and assembly.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, and other lab equipment.
