Risk Analyst - Dealing Desk
Join TMGM's experienced CFD dealing desk and support the firm's FX risk operation. You will manage FX trading portfolios, monitor markets and economic events, manage risk through positioning and trading, build scripts and analytical tools, prepare reports, and collaborate with senior dealers on risk strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build scripts, dashboards, and analytical tools that enhance the team's performance, contributing directly to workflows and P&L outcomes
- Coordinate and manage the FX trading portfolio across all currencies during your session
- Monitor market movements and stay up to date with news, economic calendars, and market events
- Manage risk through positioning and trading within approved limits, policies, and procedures
- Prepare daily reports for stakeholders, presenting key insights clearly and effectively
- Conduct analytical work across related business areas as requested by the senior team
- Work closely with senior dealers on trade supervision and alignment of risk strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or IT-related disciplines
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in financial services or FX/CFD industry preferred
- Familiarity with MT4/MT5 trading platforms and bridge systems is a strong advantage
- Strong interest in financial markets and market structure
- Solid numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Python or scripting knowledge will be considered a plus
- Bilingual English and Mandarin speaking required
