Robotics Software Engineer
Summary
Designs algorithms for multi-robot fleet scheduling, task allocation, routing, and resource optimisation. Develops simulation environments, analyses telemetry data, and builds scalable software services integrating fleet management platforms with robotic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design algorithms for fleet scheduling, task allocation, routing, and resource optimisation across multiple robotic systems.
- Develop intelligent strategies for robot traffic management, mission dispatching, and coordination within dynamic operating environments.
- Build simulation and testing environments to evaluate fleet management strategies and validate system reliability and performance.
- Analyse robot telemetry and operational data to identify bottlenecks, optimise fleet efficiency, and drive continuous improvements.
- Develop scalable software components and services that enable reliable communication and integration between fleet management platforms and robotic systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and operational teams on solution deployment while maintaining technical documentation and adopting advancements in robotics, multi-agent systems, and logistics optimisation.
Requirements:
- Master/PhD in Computer Science / Engineering
- Strong background in algorithms, optimization, and operations research, including scheduling, routing, and graph-based methods.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or C#, with experience developing scalableand maintainable software systems
