Safety Manager (SAUDI NATIONAL ONLY)
HSE Manager – Saudi National
We are seeking a qualified HSE Manager (Saudi National) to join our project team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities and ensuring full compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE requirements, procedures, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all HSE activities at the project site.
Ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco Safety Standards, Procedures, and HSE requirements.
Coordinate with Saudi Aramco representatives regarding daily safety activities and work requirements.
Prepare, process, and follow up on daily work permits and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.
Ensure all required permits are valid and available before starting site activities.
Prepare, review, and maintain all HSE documentation required for working within Saudi Aramco-controlled areas.
Prepare and coordinate documents such as JSA/JHA, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Emergency Plans, Safety Plans, Toolbox Talks, Safety Orientation documents, Access Letters, and other required HSE submissions.
Ensure workers, supervisors, and equipment meet Saudi Aramco access and safety requirements before mobilization.
Coordinate and communicate with government authorities, municipalities, utility agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to obtain required work permits, NOCs, approvals, and clearances.
Follow up with concerned authorities to ensure timely issuance and renewal of permits and approvals required for project activities.
Maintain proper records and tracking of all government permits, approvals, NOCs, and official correspondence related to site activities.
Coordinate with construction teams to ensure safe execution of daily activities.
Lead incident investigations and prepare corrective and preventive action reports when required.
Ensure subcontractors comply with project and Saudi Aramco HSE requirements.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Previous experience working on Saudi Aramco projects is mandatory.
Strong practical knowledge of Saudi Aramco Permit to Work (PTW) system and daily work permit procedures.
Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE standards, documentation, site access requirements, and safety procedures.
Proven experience in dealing with government authorities and relevant agencies for obtaining work permits, NOCs, clearances, and project approvals.
Strong communication and follow-up skills with governmental and external stakeholders.
Good command of English and Arabic.
Ability to join the project within a short notice period is preferred.
