Position Overview
Royal Palms Resort & Spa is seeking a highly analytical, responsive, and hospitality-driven Sales Business Analyst to lead the strategy and execution of all internet-based inbound leads. This role is responsible for receiving, qualifying, analyzing, and responding to digital RFPs and inbound group inquiries, ensuring each opportunity is evaluated, priced, and positioned competitively to maximize conversion and revenue potential.
Serving as the first point of evaluation within the sales funnel, the Sales Business Analyst partners closely with Revenue Management and Sales Leadership to assess demand patterns, optimize pricing strategies, and align proposals with overall revenue objectives. This position has a direct impact on response time standards, sales conversion performance, and total group revenue capture.
As opportunities advance and are ready for site visits, negotiations, or relationship-driven selling, the Sales Business Analyst facilitates a seamless and intentional handoff to the Group Sales Managers. Acting as both a strategic gatekeeper and operational bridge, this role ensures inbound opportunities are thoroughly qualified, strategically positioned, and effectively transitioned for successful closing.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with exceptional written communication, attention to detail, and business acumen. At a minimum, candidates should possess hotel sales, group sales support, catering sales, revenue management or sales analysis experience, along with a solid understanding of group business, pricing strategy, demand evaluation, and hospitality operations. Experience evaluating RFPs, analyzing revenue opportunities, preparing proposals, managing client communications, and collaborating across multiple departments is highly desirable.
Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury resort environment while balancing revenue strategy, client service, and operational execution. Candidates should be collaborative, highly organized, and comfortable working with both data and people to drive business results.
This is a supervisory-level position and is expected to work on-site five days per week.
