Summary
Sales Engineer developing B2B customer relationships in the Oil & Gas or Control & Automation sectors, identifying opportunities and recommending engineering solutions. Day-to-day work involves sales presentations, product demos, preparing quotations/proposals, and coordinating with internal technical teams.
- Location: Tai Seng, Singapore
- Salary: Basic salary up to $4,500 + $1,000 Transport Allowance + Quarterly Commission
- Working hours: Mon to Fri, 830am-530pm
Job Description
Our client is looking for a driven Sales Engineer to join their team and manage customers within the Oil & Gas or Control & Automation sectors.
You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities and providing suitable engineering solutions to meet customers’ requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities within the Oil & Gas or Control & Automation industries.
- Understand customers’ technical requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
- Prepare and deliver product and solution presentations to customers.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations and technical discussions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and other sales-related documentation.
- Follow up with customers on enquiries, quotations and projects to drive sales closure.
- Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Sales experience within any engineering field is required.
- Experience in B2B technical sales, engineering solutions or industrial products will be an advantage.
- Experience dealing with Oil & Gas, Control & Automation or industrial customers is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to customers.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to meet customers.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and comfortable working independently.
