Sales Intern: Cardiometabolic Health

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Make a real difference in people’s lives by helping improve outcomes for Canadians living with obesity and type 2 diabetes, two of the most pressing health challenges of our time.
- Play a hands-on role in the launch of a market-changing product in the cardiometabolic space, one of the most talked-about areas in medicine today.
- Support one of Lilly’s largest national field teams, contributing directly to a high-priority, high-visibility effort.
- Build relationships with customers, including physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and other health care providers, both in person and through virtual detailing.
- Capture, analyze, and interpret territory data and trends, and turn them into a clear, actionable territory plan.
- Present your findings and recommendations to senior leadership, where your insights will be seen, heard, and put to work.
- Learn directly from veteran sales professionals who have launched and grown some of Lilly’s most important brands.
- Work across medical, marketing, and other customer-facing functions to deliver a coordinated, customer-centric experience.
- Identify and offer the multi-channel and digital solutions most relevant to each customer.
- Work at the cutting edge of a modern sales model, helping bring digital and AI-powered tools into the way we plan, engage customers, and measure impact.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Education: ongoing Master’s degree, or a defined post-graduate internship as required by your academic program.
- A full, non-graduated driver’s license. A company vehicle is provided for the duration of the internship (per Lilly Canada policy, all drivers must be at least 19 years of age).
- Learning agility, a collaborative approach, and a team-player attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with data analysis and visualization tools, including a curiosity for using AI to work smarter and turn data into insight faster.
- Ability to learn CRM, virtual communication, and AI-enabled platforms (e.g., Veeva, Teams, Claude, Copilot) and an eagerness to explore new tools that make the sales model more effective.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and continually find smarter, more efficient ways of working.

Potential for an earlier start in December 2026 in a part-time and remote model for proactive onboarding, after which resuming to a full-time hybrid model January 2027. Subject to the needs of the team, and availability.

Salary: 29$/hour
This is a primarily Field based role for the South Ontario region. Onsite presence at our downtown Toronto office will be determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs. Opportunity to attend in office for: Intern events, Townhalls, and meetings with field colleagues and managers.
Interns are eligible for paid vacation and sick days.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$29/hourFull-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
