Sales Manager
Job Summary:
One of our clients are looking for The Sales Manager who will lead sales activities for chemical raw materials across target industries, including Adhesives, Inks, manufacturing, plastics, coatings, construction chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals. The role focuses on business development, key-account management, supplier coordination, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 3 years in chemical raw materials.
- Established customer network within relevant manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commodity and specialty chemicals, pricing, applications, and supply chains.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profit targets.
- Strong negotiation, account-management, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for chemical raw materials.
- Identify new business opportunities, customers, markets, and applications.
- Manage relationships with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and key accounts.
- Understand customers’ technical requirements and recommend suitable chemical products.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, contracts, and sales forecasts.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, supply agreements, and delivery conditions.
- Achieve sales volume, revenue, gross-margin, and collection targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and raw-material availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, logistics, technical, and finance teams.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and submit regular performance reports.
- Follow up on orders, deliveries, customer complaints, and payment collection.
- Attend industry exhibitions, customer meetings, and supplier events.
- Ensure compliance with chemical-handling regulations, SDS requirements, and company HSE policies.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate the sales team.
