Salesforce Developer (LWC, Apex) - Operations
Summary
Remote Salesforce Developer supporting Thunder's internal operations, building and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, and SOQL. The role covers integrations, security/SSO, deployments, and Certinia PSA alongside business process automation.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and SOQL.
- Configure and deploy Salesforce changes using Change Sets and established deployment practices.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations and APIs, including REST/SOAP and third-party system integrations.
- Configure and support SSO, authentication, user access, profiles, permission sets, and security controls.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Build automations, workflows, reports, dashboards, and other tools that improve internal business operations.
- Manage Salesforce releases, sandbox changes, testing, and production deployments.
- Collaborate with business users to translate operational requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow development, testing, and deployment standards.
- Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve internal processes and Salesforce development.
- 2-4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, APIs/integrations, and Flow.
- Certinia (FinancialForce) PSA experience, particularly with Projects, Resources, Timecards, Assignments, or Financial Management.
- Experience deploying Salesforce changes using Change Sets.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce security, SSO, authentication, profiles, roles, and permission sets.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting production Salesforce environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, objects, relationships, and platform architecture.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator, or related Salesforce credentials.
- Experience with Salesforce AI, Agentforce, or other AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities.
- Experience with DevOps, source control, CI/CD, or Salesforce CLI.
- Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Architect credentials.
- Experience working within a Salesforce consulting or professional services organization.
