As a Salesforce Release Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end deployment process using Flosum to manage complex Salesforce environments. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, collaboration across cross-functional teams including Air Force leadership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. You will maintain release predictability, protect environment stability, and streamline deployment workflows across all active project streams.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the end-to-end Salesforce release lifecycle using Flosum across sandbox and production environments.
- Coordinate release schedules, deployment plans, and cutover activities with development teams and Air Force stakeholders.
- Maintain branching strategies, repository management, and version control standards within Flosum.
- Resolve merge conflicts, validate deployment packages, and execute pre- and post-deployment checklists.
- Enforce quality gates, security policies, and governance standards for all metadata and configuration changes.
- Facilitate Release Readiness Reviews and Go/No-Go decisions with technical leads and program leadership.
- Monitor environment synchronization, refresh sandboxes, and address deployment risks.
- Refine release processes and automated workflows to improve delivery efficiency and system stability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience, OR 5+ years of comparable work experience in lieu of a degree.
- 4+ years of experience managing Salesforce release lifecycles and deployments.
- Hands-on experience using Flosum for release automation and repository management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Git version control, branching strategies, and environment synchronization.
- Active Salesforce certification, such as Administrator or Platform Developer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with technical teams and leadership.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- US citizenship, must have a current/active Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
