SAP HR / Payroll Functional Consultant
Our client is seeking an SAP HR / Payroll Functional Consultant to support a growing pipeline of compliance and system changes across their HR and Payroll environment.
Working alongside experienced functional leads, this is a hands-on delivery role focused on requirements gathering, functional support and testing across a range of payroll, EBA and workforce-related changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and functional requirements across HR and Payroll initiatives
- Support SAP HR/Payroll system changes and enhancements
- Assist with functional analysis, configuration requirements and impact assessments
- Develop and execute test scenarios and support UAT activities
- Support a pipeline of payroll compliance and legislative changes
- Assist with changes relating to EBAs, unions, long service leave and payroll conditions
- Support HR/Payroll integration activities associated with acquisitions and insourcing initiatives
- Work closely with Payroll, HR, functional leads and technology teams to ensure changes are accurately delivered
Key Requirements
- Experience across SAP HR / Payroll environments
- Background in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, Payroll Systems or Testing
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Understanding of payroll processes, compliance and employee conditions
- Experience supporting system testing, UAT and implementation activities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple concurrent changes
- Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with HR, Payroll and technical stakeholders
Highly Regarded
- Experience with Australian payroll and EBA/industrial agreement requirements
- Exposure to payroll compliance or legislative change programs
- SAP HR/HCM functional experience
- Experience supporting complex enterprise or utilities environments
