◆Title:

SAP Manager / Project Manager – Japanese Speaking (Consulting)

◆Role Overview:

Our client is a global professional services and consulting organisation supporting businesses with technology transformation and SAP solutions. The role focuses on leading SAP implementation and transformation projects while working closely with clients and diverse stakeholders. You will also contribute to proposal activities and the development of new SAP solutions, making this an opportunity to combine project leadership, consulting and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP implementation and transformation projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with client objectives.
• Define project priorities, objectives and direction while managing stakeholders across different functions and levels.
• Lead and develop consulting teams, providing guidance and meaningful development opportunities.
• Manage client relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
• Contribute to proposals and project acquisition activities to support new SAP business opportunities.
• Identify disruptive trends and market developments and recommend improvements aligned with leading practices.
• Develop new SAP-related solutions and offerings that address evolving client needs and create additional customer value.
• Drive informed decisions that support project quality and sustainable business performance.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

[Must Have]

• Degree or equivalent qualification with relevant experience in SAP consulting, implementation or technology services.
• Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and business counterparts.
• Proven experience leading SAP-related projects or implementation initiatives.
• Experience contributing to project proposals, pre-sales or project acquisition activities.
• Experience in a consulting firm or technology vendor environment.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: SAP implementation, business process consulting, or SAP project management.
• Experience defining business processes and requirements in areas such as sales, logistics, procurement, production, accounting or finance.
• Ability to proactively engage in both SAP project delivery and business development activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

[Good to Have]

• Experience leading a specific business area or an end-to-end SAP implementation project.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Experience across multiple SAP implementation phases, from requirements definition through design, development, testing, go-live preparation and stabilisation.
• Experience managing teams or leading consultants in project environments.
• Experience working on global or regional SAP projects.
• Consulting experience supporting clients across Southeast Asia.
