Job Description:
SCCS Brokerage Fraud, Risk Program Execution and Business Governance is seeking an individual contributor to support Executive directly to drive the day-to-day coordination and execution of key activities across a dynamic organization, ensuring forums, priorities, fraud operation activities are organized and executed effectively.
Successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to independently navigate complex problems. This role demands high organization, detailed-oriented mindset, strong follow-through, and comfort managing multiple priorities across a broad group of stakeholders. The individual will create structure around recurring activities, coordinate forums, develop and maintain executive presentations, and ensure commitments and follow-ups are tracked through completion. We are seeking a highly motivated individual, self-starter with a high degree of proactiveness, sound judgement, reliability, and ability to anticipate what is needed to make progress and ensure key deliverables are met in an efficient timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Track actionable deliverables and proactively follow-up with assigned owners, leaders, and project managers to facilitate timely completion.
- Maintain visibility into upcoming commitments, deadlines, and deliverables to prevent missed activities or follow-ups.
- Organize incoming requests, information, and materials requiring review, planning, and execution.
- Identify opportunities to simplify recurring routines and improve organization, consistency, and efficiency.
- Perform reporting, and analysis.
- Develop clear hypotheses in ambiguous problem spaces and iterate analytically as new findings emerge.
- Organize, host and facilitate business forums, including planning and post-discussion activities.
- Coordinate collection, consolidation of inputs for executive presentation materials including governance and executive committees.
- Apply structured problem-solving to ad hoc requests by setting objective, organizing available information, identifying gaps, and coordinating the actions required to reach completion.
- Consolidate quantitative and qualitative information from multiple stakeholders into clear, structured summaries that enable efficient review and decision making.
- Maintain and update recurring reports, trackers, dashboards, and other management information used to provide visibility into key activities, deliverables, trends and outstanding items.
- Organize complex details into structured, easy-to-consume formats appropriate for senior audiences.
- Capture key decisions, commitments, and next steps from leadership discussions and coordinate next steps.
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in the Merrill Edge / Consumer Investments business, with a strong understanding of the organization, hierarchy, partner teams, processes, self-directed platform, investment products, and client servicing channels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver activities, process improvement through completion.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a consistent habit of asking incisive questions to fully understand the why.
- Proven ability to think logically and structure complex problems, breaking ambiguous risks into clear hypotheses, remediation approaches, and sound conclusions.
- Ability to independently assess what matters, what data is meaningful, and what analysis is, rather than relying on predefined scripts or instructions.
- Sound judgment and ability to determine appropriate next step with limited direction.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- High degree of dependability, responsiveness, and direction.
- Strong proficiency with MS365 Outlook, Excel, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- Proven ability to translate analytical insights into business and risk decisions.
