Summary
Front-of-house Security & Concierge Officer managing reception, visitor access control, security patrols, and basic office facilities support in a Singapore office. Day-to-day work centers on access monitoring, incident reporting, escorting visitors/vendors, and assisting Admin, Facilities and HSSE teams.
About the Role
Our client is looking for a Security & Concierge Officer to support the day-to-day security, reception, access control and general office operations. The role will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure office environment while providing front-of-house support to employees, visitors and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reception and front-of-house duties, including welcoming and assisting visitors.
- Perform office opening and closing procedures in accordance with company protocols.
- Monitor and record employee and visitor check-in/check-out where required.
- Conduct regular security rounds and patrols within the office premises.
- Monitor access to the premises and ensure only authorised personnel are allowed entry.
- Escort visitors, contractors and vendors within the premises when required.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities, incidents or security concerns to the relevant department.
- Ensure the security and safety of the office is maintained in accordance with company procedures and protocols.
- Support the Administration, Facilities and HSSE departments with operational tasks when required.
- Identify and report basic facilities or equipment faults, including issues with lighting, air-conditioning and other office equipment, to the Facilities Department.
- Assist with general office security and safety checks as required.
- Maintain accurate records and reports relating to security, access and incidents.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in security, concierge, reception, front-of-house, facilities or office operations.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors and vendors.
- Able to work independently and remain alert when monitoring the premises.
- Responsible, observant and security-conscious.
- Comfortable performing regular patrols and security checks.
- Basic awareness of office facilities and equipment faults is an advantage.
- Able to respond appropriately to incidents and escalate matters to the relevant department.
- Relevant security qualifications / licenses will be an advantage.
