Security Guard
Job Description
Ensuring daily security, order, and access control across the center's premises. The Security Guard acts as the first point of contact for visitors, combining a professional approach with a welcoming attitude toward families.
Responsibilities
- Mandatory and continuous presence at the main entrance during morning drop-off and evening pick-up hours.
- Warmly welcoming children and parents, maintaining polite communication, and providing necessary assistance at the entrance and exit of the center.
- Monitoring the entry and exit of staff, parents, and guests, and maintaining the visitor logbook.
- Constant access control on the center's territory. In the event of an unfamiliar or unauthorized person appearing, the security guard must stop them, verify their identity, purpose of visit, and destination, and then act in accordance with the visitor admission procedure.
- Knowing by sight parents and other authorized individuals who regularly drop off and pick up the children. In case of any doubt regarding an adult's identity, the security guard must verify their details and obtain confirmation from the administrator before allowing access or releasing a child.
- Enforcing child hand-over protocols, ensuring children are released strictly to authorized adults only.
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises throughout the day.
- Patrolling outdoor areas during children's outdoor playtime to monitor safety, exits, entrances, and ensure the absence of unauthorized persons.
- Monitoring CCTV cameras in strict compliance with confidentiality and privacy requirements.
- Immediately informing management of any instance where a child is found unattended by an adult, whether outdoors, in corridors, or any other area of the center. The security guard must remain with the child and ensure their safety until the arrival of the responsible staff member.
- Strict adherence to established procedures during evacuations and other emergency situations.
- Strict compliance with internal regulations, operational standards, scripts, and approved center protocols.
- Adherence to internal safeguarding policies, occupational health and safety regulations, access control, and child protection standards.

- Onboarding period provided: Introduction to the premises, access systems, CCTV, and the team.

Skills
Requirements
- Proven experience as a security guard, security officer, access control specialist, or in a similar role.
- Understanding of visitor management procedures, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong command of the English language to effectively communicate with the team, parents, and contractors.
- Good physical fitness and readiness for regular patrols around the premises.
- Prior experience working in a school, kindergarten, childcare center, residential complex, or hotel is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to undergo internal training in fire safety, safeguarding, child protection, and emergency response procedures.
