Security Guard
MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Guards to join our team in Guam.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serves as a Senior Security Specialist responsible for guarding, patrolling, and monitoring command premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, violence, or infractions of base regulations.
Plan and lead physical protection operations, access control procedures, and entry point tracking workflows across distributed areas.
Evaluate emergency response results and recommend tactical changes to improve overall site survivability and defensive postures.
Leverage industrial security screening equipment, x-ray platforms, and metal detector networks to maintain a secure environment.
Coordinates and synchronizes physical security protocols and perimeter force protection measures during the deployment and rapid stand-up of expeditionary infrastructure.
Conduct detailed site security assessments and vulnerability studies for proposed logistics nodes, distribution areas, and marshaling yards within distributed settings.
Implement advanced security measures, blast-protection configurations, and tactical perimeter controls to safeguard modular infrastructure and essential utilities.
Provide executive security recommendations to leadership to optimize resource allocation and enhance site survivability against asymmetric threats.
Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
NOTE: Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience. Please see below.
Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level
High school diploma or a related field required and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (a candidate holding a bachelor’s degree may be granted additional experience credit for that education).
Demonstrated experience in formal document approval, quality gate oversight, and acting as a Functional Lead for facility security deliverables.
Midlevel
High school diploma or a related field required and 3 years of position-relevant experience (a candidate holding a bachelor’s degree may be granted additional experience credit for that education).
Demonstrated ability to follow established security SOPs and maintain detailed access logs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional security credentials such as Physical Security Professional (PSP) or industrial security certifications.
Experience leading Perimeter Protection Teams, executing facility security site assessments, and managing entry control points in expeditionary settings.
Clearance Required:
Must hold an active Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
