Security Officer
Summary
Physical Security Officer at a hospital health system patrolling facilities, monitoring access control systems, conducting safety inspections, reporting incidents, and responding to emergencies and crisis situations.
The Security Officer inspects, monitors, controls, and patrols work sites, an assigned facility, and/or people, and may be expected to collect and complete paperwork. Maintains security at all hospital outlets. May conduct safety inspections. The position relies on guidelines and some experience and judgment to complete job and works under general supervision.
- TECHNICAL TASKS
- Keep daily reports accurate and neat.
- Checks equipment to ensure safety.
- Understands the access control system.

- Regularly reports security incidents to supervisor.
- Handles emergency/crisis situations appropriately.
