Security Program Manager
Crusoe is seeking a Security Program Manager to lead physical security strategy and delivery across multiple data center construction projects, managing systems from design through installation, commissioning, and transition to operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead physical security delivery across multiple data center construction projects.
- Manage design reviews, bid packages, budgets, schedules, submittals, change orders, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, systems integrators, customers, and internal teams.
- Review security drawings, specifications, product substitutions, and technical submissions.
- Apply physical security and CPTED principles to access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, fencing, gates, lighting, and perimeter protection.
- Manage multimillion-dollar budgets and project risks.
- Establish security standards, quality assurance processes, governance documents, and operating procedures.
- Conduct site walks, field inspections, installation reviews, and commissioning activities.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
- Help shape Crusoe’s long-term physical security strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in physical security project management, security systems deployment, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, critical infrastructure, or similarly complex environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
- Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and substitution requests.
- Ability to manage vendors, contractors, consultants, and systems integrators.
- Experience managing multiple projects, locations, budgets, and competing priorities.
- Strong communication, organization, judgment, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Familiarity with Procore.
- Working knowledge of networking, servers, and systems integrations related to physical security platforms.
- Ability to read and mark up construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Security Management, or a related field.
- CPP, PSP, PMP, CPTED, or relevant security systems certification.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.
