Security Research Internship
Work on security research topics including malware analysis, vulnerability detection, network anomaly detection, mobile app analysis, reverse engineering, and fraud detection. Compensation is $3,000–$8,000 per month.
Responsibilities
- Develop analysis tools to facilitate security discovery and design mitigation techniques to deter security threats.
- Review implementations of sandboxes, virtual machines, network modules, and critical distributed systems.
- Perform vulnerability discovery and develop proof-of-concept exploits for large distributed system implementations.
- Publish research findings in academic and industry venues.
- Conduct malware analysis.
- Detect vulnerabilities and network anomalies.
- Analyze mobile applications and perform reverse engineering.
- Investigate fraud detection techniques.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related Cybersecurity field.
- Experience in vulnerability discovery and exploitation on web applications or system software.
