Senior Accounting Manager

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, lead technical accounting and financial reporting, build internal controls, manage intercompany accounting and consolidated financials, implement scalable accounting systems, advise cross-functional teams on accounting implications, and define policies for crypto-native platform activity.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process including GL operations, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
• Research and document technical accounting positions across revenue recognition, business combinations, and internal-use software.
• Lead financial reporting, support external audits, and build the internal controls framework.
• Manage intercompany accounting and consolidated financials across domestic and international entities.
• Scope and implement accounting systems, ERP tools, and automation.
• Partner with legal, product, and business development on product launches, monetization changes, and M&A activity.
• Define and document accounting policies for crypto-native platform activity.

Requirements

• Active CPA license.
• 8 to 10 or more years of progressive accounting experience across high-growth private companies and public company environments.
• 3 or more years of Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Deep technical GAAP knowledge and experience researching complex accounting topics and writing accounting memos.
• Experience leading a close process in a high-transaction-volume environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Familiarity with modern finance tools such as Ramp, Brex, or a modern ERP.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Direct crypto accounting or digital asset platform experience is a plus.
• SQL skills or willingness to learn is a plus.
• International accounting, multi-entity consolidation, or M&A experience is a plus.
