Senior backend engineer building multi-market web applications on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and the Adobe Experience Cloud, working with Java, Apache Sling, HTL, REST APIs, and Spring while mentoring team members.

Overview

The focus of your activities is to develop solutions for multi-market projects on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and its integrations.

You will work in a strong multidisciplinary team across Europe and Asia.

In addition to the development of web applications, working with databases and interacting with customers are among your responsibilities. Your range of tasks covers the entire software development process – from analysis to execution.

Besides designing and developing top-notch solutions in AEM, you will onboard and mentor colleagues in the framework.

Qualifications

You have minimum 6+ years of experience (full-time work, not internships)

  • Experience with the AEM framework and the Adobe Experience Cloud
  • Experience with AEM technologies (e.g. Apache Sling, Sling models, HTL/Sightly)
  • Very good knowledge of modern web development using Java as well as experience with industry standard software frameworks (like Spring)
  • You are a technically accomplished back-end developer; you think creatively and are passionate about quality in code and performance.
  • You have experience with leading and building large-scale web solutions
  • You are a good communicator and are comfortable handling client dialogue.
  • Experience and in depth knowledge of REST APIs both as consumer and producer
  • Experience with version control (GIT) and working in environments with CI/CD
  • Experience with Maven
  • Experience with researching and analyzing complex solutions and features
  • Experience with performance, logging, scalability, and maintainability
