Senior Backend Engineer, Liquidity

Develop backend systems for trading products and help build a reliable trading experience across crypto and fiat assets. Connect exchanges and trading providers, develop and optimize trading APIs, mentor developers, lead cross-functional features, and implement cloud-native architectures for scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend components for fintech products
• Mentor and guide developers on complex designs
• Lead cross-functional features
• Connect exchanges, trading agencies, and other providers
• Develop and optimize trading APIs
• Research and implement cloud-native architectures
• Support scalable trading infrastructure

Requirements

• At least 5 years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with scalable infrastructure
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scalability
• Experience designing and deploying production microservices
• Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Understanding of blockchain transaction lifecycles, block confirmations, mempool mechanics, and finality
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols, liquidity pools, yield mechanisms, and on-chain order books
• Understanding of market making, order routing, slippage, price impact, and CEX and DEX liquidity
