As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join the team responsible for FxPro Invest, our investment platform that enables clients to invest in financial instruments such as stocks and ETFs. You'll cover both the client-facing product and internal administration tools, shaping platform capabilities across the full investment lifecycle: accounts, instruments, execution, liquidity, custody, settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions. A key part of the role is working closely with Product, Dealing, Operations, Platform Administration, Engineering, QA, and Architecture teams to analyze dependencies, design scalable solutions, and drive delivery from discovery through to production.

Responsibilities

• Own business and system analysis for Invest throughout the full feature lifecycle, from discovery to production
• Map the Invest platform across the entire investment lifecycle — accounts, instruments, execution, liquidity, custody, settlement, reconciliation, and related platform services — and the dependencies between components
• Gather, analyse, validate, and document business and system requirements, balancing business objectives with technical constraints
• Analyse existing platform architecture, system interactions, and business processes to identify dependencies and solution impacts
• Take part in designing APIs and documenting integrations between internal services and third-party systems, including data flows, API interactions, validation rules, and error scenarios
• Produce technical analysis artefacts including User Stories, Use Cases, UML, BPMN, Sequence Diagrams, and integration documentation
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Architects, Designers, and QA engineers to define scalable technical solutions
• Support implementation by clarifying requirements, resolving ambiguities, and ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical delivery
• Drive cross-team communication around system behaviour, technical dependencies, and implementation trade-offs
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Business and System Analyst in software product development
• Strong hands-on experience analysing backend systems and distributed platform architectures
• Proven ability to analyse, document, and design integrations between multiple systems
• Experience working with API-based integrations and understanding system communication patterns
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, identifying dependencies and trade-offs along the way
• Comfortable collaborating with software engineers and architects on technical solution design
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery
• Proficient in producing technical documentation: UML, BPMN, Sequence Diagrams, User Stories, and Use Cases
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Experience in fintech — particularly investment products, brokerage platforms, or capital markets - is a plus
• Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets, gRPC, FIX Protocol, or message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace) is a plus
• Experience with client-facing investment platforms, operational back-office systems, or platform administration tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of investment lifecycle concepts such as execution, custody, settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions is an advantage
• SQL and data analysis skills are a plus
• Experience with CI/CD processes and modern software delivery practices is nice to have
• Russian language proficiency is an advantage
