Senior Business Development Manager - dreamDEX

Own relationships with market makers, institutions, builders, aggregators, wallets, and distribution partners for dreamDEX and Somnia. Source, negotiate, close, and manage deals while feeding market intelligence into the product roadmap and representing the company at industry events.

Responsibilities

• Own the market maker pipeline, including sourcing, pitching, negotiating, onboarding, and structuring liquidity arrangements.
• Integrate dreamDEX with spot and cross-chain aggregators and manage those relationships.
• Build and activate institutional pipelines across trading firms, funds, family offices, OTC desks, prime brokers, and custodians.
• Build builder partnerships across trading terminals, AI strategies, and native applications.
• Close liquidity deals with institutional LPs, protocol and DAO treasuries, and vault operators.
• Secure distribution partnerships with wallets, perpetual aggregators, and bridges.
• Support broader Somnia business development involving ecosystem projects, stablecoin partners, and treasury deals.
• Feed market intelligence and institutional requirements into the product roadmap.
• Represent dreamDEX and Somnia at conferences and institutional meetings.

Requirements

• Business development experience at a crypto exchange covering market makers, institutional clients, or listings.
• Established relationships across crypto and/or TradFi institutions, including trading firms, market makers, funds, prime brokers, and OTC desks.
• Demonstrated deals with measurable impact on volume, liquidity, or TVL.
• Working knowledge of order books, spreads, depth, perpetuals, margin, liquidations, market-maker economics, and incentive design.
• Ability to manage the full deal cycle independently from sourcing through post-signature relationship management.
• Comfort operating early in a venue's lifecycle and selling both the roadmap and product.
• TradFi background in prime brokerage, electronic trading, or institutional sales.
• Relationships with DEX aggregators, wallets, custodians, or vault operators.
• Experience taking a new venue through cold start.
• Experience structuring token or incentive-based deals.
• Working knowledge of DeFi, including CLOB DEXs, vaults, stablecoins, and yield products.
• Experience selling to DAOs and protocol treasuries.
