Senior Cash Control Analyst
The role manages daily client and firm cash reconciliation, investigates discrepancies, monitors client money regulations and liquidity buffers, produces liquidity and cash management reports, oversees bank payments, supports audits, implements a Treasury Management System, onboards new products, leads automation initiatives, and maintains control documentation.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile client and firm cash positions in AutoRek
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor client money regulations and liquidity buffers
- Produce daily liquidity and cash management reports
- Manage queries from internal and external parties
- Improve reconciliation, payment processing, and cash management processes
- Recommend risk-mitigating solutions
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including CASS audits
- Implement the Treasury Management System
- Onboard new products
- Lead automation initiatives
- Maintain procedures, process documentation, and control frameworks
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of financial services experience
- Experience with reconciliation, cash management, and Treasury Management Systems
- Minimum BA degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience with financial systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to liaise with banking institutions and auditors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Power BI proficiency is beneficial
