Senior Cyber Security Engineer, Security Operations
Manage and enhance security systems and controls protecting infrastructure, applications, and data. Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce risk, enable compliance, and support incident response capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in on-call incident response, manage EDR and SIEM detection rules, and conduct threat monitoring, hunting, and simulations.
- Harden systems, optimize security tools and processes, and automate workflows.
- Perform security scanning, phishing campaigns, risk assessments, and audits.
- Educate employees on security best practices and raise security awareness.
- Pursue ongoing training, certifications, and knowledge of emerging threats and security technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in incident response, threat hunting, SIEM analysis with Elastic or Splunk, digital forensics, and vulnerability management.
- Experience building automated security workflows with SOAR tools, Python scripting, and AI-driven solutions.
- Strong knowledge of system hardening, cloud and network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies, and configuration remediation.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, DORA, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Self-driven, collaborative, detail-oriented, and effective at communicating across teams.
