Overview

QBE, LLC is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Defense Manager - SecOps/IR Lead to lead security operations and incident response activities supporting NIH/OD-OIT.

This position is primarily remote but will require some TDY.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Security Operations Center and incident response activities.

• Manage detection, analysis, escalation, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.

• Direct Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, threat hunting, and engineering coordination as applicable.

• Establish and maintain incident response procedures, playbooks, and escalation paths.

• Provide technical leadership during significant cybersecurity incidents.

• Review alerts, investigations, and incident cases for quality and completeness.

• Coordinate incident response activities with government leadership and technical stakeholders.

• Analyze operational metrics and recommend improvements to detection and response capabilities.

• Ensure timely reporting and documentation of cybersecurity incidents.

• Oversee integration of threat intelligence into security operations.
