Interview preparation guide
- Collaborate within the DevOps team and with end-users to understand data requirements based on business and project needs
- Design and implement data pipelines to manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring effective data flow and integration
- Monitor and optimize data storage and retrieval processes to maintain data integrity and performance
- Perform data analysis and reporting to assist in operational decision-making and performance optimization
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python, Java, and/or Scala
- Experience with on-premises server environments and/or cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Experience with API development (RESTful APIs) and integration with data services
- Experience in supporting back-end development and providing data solutions for the creation and enhancement of desktop and/or web applications
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Apache Hadoop and Spark
- Proficient in version control systems, such as Git
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
