Senior Data Scientist Growth
Partner with engineering, design, marketing, finance, and operations to identify growth opportunities and improve acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer experience. Champion experimentation, define KPIs, apply statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning, analyze user journeys and business performance, shape priorities, and build dashboards, models, and self-serve tools.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with engineers and designers to improve acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer experience
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to uncover growth opportunities and drive better business decisions
- Champion experimentation and decision frameworks
- Define KPIs and success metrics
- Use statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning to understand user behavior and business performance
- Analyze user journeys, lifecycle behavior, conversion funnels, and financial performance
- Shape squad and company priorities with data-informed perspectives
- Build dashboards, models, and self-serve tools
- Maintain a shared and consistent data layer
- Foster experimentation, curiosity, and evidence-based decision-making
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, growth analytics, experimentation, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Deep understanding of experimentation, causal inference, statistical analysis, forecasting, and KPI design
- Strong product and business intuition
- Cross-functional experience with marketing, finance, operations, or product teams
- Ability to operate autonomously and drive ambiguous projects from idea to execution
- Strong communication and data-driven influence skills
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects
- Understanding of dashboarding and data visualization tools
