Senior Data Scientist, Risk (Risk Strategy)
The Senior Data Scientist, Risk will provide strategic perspective, advanced analytical and modeling capabilities, and technical guidance for fraud investigations. The role involves fraud pattern detection, machine learning, graph analytics, unsupervised learning, stakeholder communication, and collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify complex fraud patterns and technical root causes
- Perform data mining and analysis
- Share data mining techniques and maintain technical documentation
- Communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide technical guidance for investigation tools
- Perform link analysis and graph analytics
- Apply unsupervised learning methods
- Develop machine learning models
- Partner with product and engineering teams to implement features and models
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline
- 4+ years of fraud analytics experience
- Financial services or FinTech experience
- Crypto or blockchain experience
