Senior Interior Designer
Job Scope
Understand clients' objectives, preferences, and project requirements to develop creative and functional design proposals.
Prepare comprehensive design presentations, including detailed AutoCAD drawings, space planning, and design documentation.
Support the Project & Sales Head in presenting design concepts to clients, demonstrating how furniture, lighting, finishes, colour palettes, and materials enhance the overall living environment.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is achieved throughout project execution.
Source and specify furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories, while managing procurement, delivery schedules, and installation coordination.
Ensure design drawings, specifications, and detailing are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
Work closely with internal teams to deliver projects on schedule while maintaining the highest design standards.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in residential and/or hospitality interior design, with strong expertise in design development, drafting, and detailing.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software (e.g. SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
Excellent presentation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
Strong design flair with a keen eye for colour, materials, proportions, and spatial planning.
Ability to conceptualise design ideas and communicate them effectively through drawings and presentations.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
A collaborative team player who performs well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
