Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer
Design, test, and validate electronic hardware for flagship devices. Own PCB and PCBA development, program microcontrollers for device bring-up, diagnose and repair hardware issues, and run qualification and validation processes. Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and industrial design partners to bring reliable products to production.
Responsibilities
- Own electronic design of PCBAs and PCBs
- Develop and implement electrical systems and circuits
- Evaluate and verify existing hardware designs
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues
- Oversee qualification, verification, and validation of hardware
- Commission and repair electrical assemblies
- Program microcontrollers in C for device bring-up
- Integrate and validate software releases on hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate product design
- Optimize network connectivity and antenna performance
- Design and test embedded camera-based hardware systems
- Stay current with emerging hardware technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of electronics product development experience from concept to production
- Experience with E-CAD tools such as Altium or EAGLE
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Solid understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers
- Experience programming microcontrollers in C
- Experience with real-time operating systems, preferably FreeRTOS and Zephyr
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and VNA
- Hands-on experience with embedded camera integration
- Experience with BLE, Wi-Fi, LTE, and antenna optimization
- Ability to mentor and inspire engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent English communication
- Experience creating automated PCBA testers for mass production is a nice-to-have
- Experience with HSMs, TPMs, secure elements, decentralized manufacturing, DFMEA, or fast-moving startups is a nice-to-have
