Senior Financial Portfolio Analyst – Servicing
Provide advanced financial analysis, portfolio performance monitoring, servicing cost modeling, compliance oversight, and forecasting for a servicing portfolio. Support cross-functional teams including Servicing Operations, Capital Markets, Collections/Default, Investor Reporting, and Asset Management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance servicing profit-and-loss models covering revenue streams, ancillary fees, sub-servicing costs, advances, late fees, recoveries, and corporate allocations.
- Support mortgage servicing rights valuation by modeling discount rates, prepayment speeds, delinquency curves, and cost-to-service assumptions.
- Build dashboards tracking static pool performance, delinquency migration, modification outcomes, foreclosure metrics, and collection effectiveness.
- Forecast servicing revenue based on portfolio balance, runoff, payoffs, and interest-rate conditions.
- Develop models for default expenses, foreclosure timelines, claim recoveries, and REO performance.
- Provide financial performance analysis, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring for servicing portfolios.
- Model escrow balances, interest earnings, advance recoverability, and servicing cost allocations by investor.
- Contribute financial insights to operational efficiency initiatives.
- Prepare monthly business review decks, variance analyses, margin analytics, and operational KPIs for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of mortgage FP&A, servicing analytics, or portfolio-analysis experience.
- Strong understanding of mortgage servicing rights economics, delinquency modeling, advance mechanics, and servicing cost structures.
- Experience with MSP, Sagent, or LoanServ servicing systems.
- Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex workloads with strict deadlines.
- Adherence to company security policies and data handling procedures.
- Completion of mandatory security awareness training.
- Prompt reporting of suspected security incidents or suspicious activity.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- CPA or similar financial certification preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; Figure will not sponsor work visas.
