Location: Singapore
Contract Duration: October 2026 to December 2027
Contract Completion Bonus: 1 month’s salary upon successful completion of the contract
Salary: Up to SGD 8,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Controller / FP&A Specialist to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting and business performance management across Singapore and/or APAC operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Business Units and other stakeholders to provide meaningful financial analysis, support business steering and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with stakeholders and Business Units to prepare and consolidate rolling forecasts for inventory and Net Working Capital (NWC).
- Analyse forecast movements, key drivers, variances and associated risks.
- Follow up with Business Units to support the achievement of financial and operational KPIs.
- Analyse rolling forecasts against actual performance and identify key movements.
- Review significant variances against plans and forecasts and provide relevant commentary.
- Prepare monthly financial performance reports.
- Prepare management reporting packs to support management reviews, decision-making and performance steering.
- Support APAC capital expenditure (Capex) controlling activities, including budget preparation, forecast updates, monthly reporting and monitoring of actual expenditure against plan.
- Prepare and submit weekly Free Cash Flow (FCF) forecasts.
- Monitor key FCF movements and variances and provide timely analysis.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare, coordinate and submit financial reports and planning submissions through TAMIS.
- Consolidate and submit annual planning templates and other required financial information to the central controlling team via TAMIS.
- Ensure all financial submissions are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable integrity standards, company policies and group-level requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes.
- Support the simplification, standardisation and automation of recurring processes and activities.
- Perform ad-hoc financial, controlling, reporting, planning and analytical tasks as required.
- Support special projects, process changes and other business requirements relevant to the role.
Requirements
- Degree, Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- 3–4 years or more of relevant experience in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, business controlling or a similar finance function.
- Experience working in a multinational or complex corporate environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong financial and business analytical skills.
- Meticulous, structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Strong process improvement and continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders across different functions and organisational levels.
- Strong team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
