Senior Front-End Developer

Lead the design and implementation of high-performance, responsive front-end and cross-platform mobile applications. Translate UI/UX designs into maintainable code, optimize performance, integrate backend APIs, improve testing and CI/CD workflows, mentor junior engineers, review code, troubleshoot issues, and adopt emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and cross-platform mobile applications focused on performance, scalability, and usability.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality features.
• Build reusable code libraries and front-end components.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Implement responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Lead code reviews and guide front-end architecture and quality.
• Mentor and coach junior developers and promote best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end and mobile issues.
• Stay updated with emerging front-end and mobile technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with React Native and Expo.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Expo Managed Workflow and Expo SDK.
• Experience with React Native core libraries and third-party integrations.
• Experience with mobile performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into mobile applications.
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing using Jest or Detox.
• Experience with native modules and Expo Bare Workflow preferred.
• Familiarity with Expo Build for Android and iOS binaries preferred.
• Knowledge of Expo push notifications preferred.
• Understanding of AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools preferred.
• Knowledge of iOS App Store and Google Play deployment preferred.
