Senior Frontend Engineer
Join Xsolla's collaborative frontend engineering team in Kuala Lumpur to build polished, performant interfaces for game developers and players worldwide. Work with product managers, designers, and backend engineers while contributing to architecture discussions and mentoring peers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable, responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Translate product designs and user stories into high-quality UI components.
- Optimize performance across browsers and devices.
- Refactor legacy code using current best practices and architectural patterns.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with modern frontend tooling.
- Implement state management and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Lead frontend design reviews and architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
- Contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery tracking.
- Resolve performance bottlenecks, UI bugs, and UX inconsistencies.
- Mentor peers and provide constructive code reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on React experience, ideally with TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and Web APIs.
- Experience with responsive design systems and CSS-in-JS.
- Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data handling.
- Comfort working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile collaboration tools.
- Exposure to Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar testing frameworks.
